We are delighted to have organised some Extra Curricular Activities (ECAs) to begin the week after the Midterm Break (Monday 20th February).
The classes classes being offered are:
Monday
Chess – 2.50pm all classes – already up and running with Bernie Stokes (15 weeks – €105).
Art & Crafts – 2.55pm Junior Infants to 2nd class – Teacher Mallaidh (6 weeks – €50 includes materials).
Guitar – 2.55pm 2nd class up. Exceptions may be made depending on the size of the class. Outside teacher Sean Kelly (9/10 weeks – €70).
Tuesday
Yoga – 1.55pm Junior and Senior Infants. Teacher is mum Emma Locke (6 weeks – €38).
Yoga – 2.55pm 1st and 2nd class. Teacher is mum Emma Locke (6 weeks – €38).
GAA – 2.55pm 1st to 3rd class. Teacher Conor (6 weeks – €38).
French – 1.55pm Junior and Senior Infants. Outside teacher Loic Le Lay (6 weeks – €48).
French – 2.55pm 1st class up. Outside teacher Loic Le Lay (6 weeks – €48).
Thursday
English Language – 2.55pm for families. Teacher Edel (6 weeks – €50).
Soccer – 2.55pm 2nd class up. Teacher Emmett (6 weeks – €38).
Mathventurers – 2.55pm 1st class up. Teacher is mum Nadia Dorcey (6 weeks – €40 includes materials).
After School Athletics
A slot for after school athletics at the track in Shoreline, Charlesland has been booked for Greystones Educate Together on Tuesdays from 4-5pm.
The programme will run alongside the school calendar, with the first term starting Tuesday Jan 31st – Mar 27th. For this 8 week term, the total cost will be €20 per child.
There will be 2 or 3 instructor lead groups of 10-15 children per group. Activities will include: High Jump, Hurdles, Javelin, Long Jump, Shot Putt, Relay Races and more.
