6th Class were very lucky to take part in another workshop courtesy of The Ark. We had watched the production The Making of Mollie, which told the tale of a girl who joins the movement to campaign for votes for women.
Lucky for us, our artist was Jane Groves, a past parent, so we were delighted to have her working with us. She talked to the children about their Human Rights, asked them to think about what matters are important to them, and then to create a slogan and, or logo to represent their cry!
You can see a wide range of topics shown in the pictures, from the right to play, more pitches in Greystones, a ban on smoking and a call to provide sports to underprivileged children around the world.
A fantastic workshop, thank you The Ark.
