45 children from 1st and 2nd class attended a participation hurling/camogie blitz in Brat Emmets on the 21st May.
The enthuasiasm at the pitch was incredible, 203 children attended in total.
Our Young Whistlers, Hazel and Aoibhe refereed the games very successfully, ten children from 6th came along as team mentors on the day and showed wonderful leadership skills.
The future is bright for hurling and camogie in Wicklow if we keep encouraging the skills development in our younger classes.
