Local author Jackie Burke came in to visit 3rd and 4th classes recently. The children learned all about her writing techniques and how she came up with the ideas for her two wonderful book series, The Secrets of Grindlewood and Harp Maiden. Jackie encouraged the children to come up with their own imaginative ideas for stories. We can't wait to see what they write next.
