On Sunday the 4th January, seven lucky and talented children got the opportunity to sing as part of a concert dedicated to Phil Lynott. Phil Lynott was, and still is, one of Ireland's most famous and treasured musicians. The 3 Arena was filled with 6000 Thin Lizzy fans who wanted to commemorate 40 years since Philo's death.
As part of our association with the National Children's Choir, seven children were able to sing, with children from all over Ireland, as part of the choir on the night.
They sang Sarah and The Boys are Back in Town, accompanied by the RTE Symphony Orchestra. They shared the stage with lots of famous and established musicians and had an absolute blast.
As usual, they represented their school magnificently and we are so proud that they got to experience such a special event.
