Greenan Maze 2026
Second Class enjoyed a wonderful day at Greenan Maze as part of their school tour. The children had great fun exploring both the Celtic Hedge Maze and the Solstice Maze, carefully navigating their way through the twists and turns.
The classes also visited the Barn Museum and the Old Farmhouse Museum, where they took a fascinating journey back in time to the 16th century. They were interested to learn about life long ago and to see a variety of old farming tools, including horse-drawn ploughs, carts, and traps, as well as equipment used by blacksmiths, coopers, and thatchers.
Another highlight of the day was the nature walk, which led the children through beautiful native woodlands and wetlands along a raised wooden boardwalk. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore the outdoors and learn more about the natural environment.
We loved meeting all the farm animals and had endless fun exploring the playground too. It was an action-packed day filled with laughter, adventure, and wonderful memories!
