Science in Junior Infants

This month, junior infants were learning about 3D Shapes and as an extension balancing and shapes that roll and shapes that stack.

Each group was challenged to make the highest tower that could stand stabily. We had a lot of fun in the process!

We have also been learning about clothes this month, and in particular clothes for the different seasons.

We investigated which materials or clothing pieces are waterproof by using a pipette to wet each material.

Great scientific thinkers developing in here!

Then we had some fun designing new outfits for ourselves!
