Paula's Senior Infants 2023

We are having lots of fun learning in Senior Infants this year! We really love learning through play and each fortnight we have a new Aistear theme to focus on.
This month we are learning all about the Flower Shop. We have planted lettuce in plant pots and we are going to transfer them into our school garden shortly. Next week, we are going to visit the National Botanic Gardens in Kilmacurragh and observe/search for different types of flowers and trees.
We have been learning all about flowers/gardening this month and we have read and discussed different stories based on this theme. We really enjoyed the stories 'The Empty Pot' and 'Jack and the Beanstalk'.
