We had a lovely relaxed time with five, sixth class pupils you were absent for the session of making wax fish. As we were looking at the replica bronze age work we were discussing the bronze work we have in the museum that is c. 4,500 years old. Will sixth class fish be here in another 4,500 years time? The school building certainly won’t. Will there be people on earth to find it? These are important things to think about in our project – Traces.

Also, we talked about how people discovered firing clay to turn it into ceramic and how  might they have discovered copper.One pupil remarked ” Oh, so they were clever!”
