October was such a busy month for the Junior Infants. Our Aistear theme was “Homes” which then became “Halloween”. We did lots of festive crafts such as handprint spiders, witches legs, and pumpkins. We sang “5 Little Pumpkins” and made pumpkin pictures. We sang “Dingle Dangle Scarecrow”. On the last day of the half term we dressed up in Halloween costumes and went to the Nature Classroom for a story. Here are some photos from the day.
It has been lovely getting to know all of the new children who started with us this year. Everyone has settled into school life very well and have made lots of new friends. This month in school we were learning all about homes and families. We read lots of stories including The Three Little Pigs and did lovely art around the theme.
You might have seen some familiar faces in the Bray People this week. Lee from the newspaper came to take our photos as we celebrated our first few days of school.
